  • The Victoria Natural History Society (VNHS) - formed in 1944 and currently has about 750 members. VNHS provides an opportunity for those interested in the natural world to come together to share their ideas and experiences.

  • Yellow Point Ecological Society (Y.E.S.) - Their purpose is to understand, appreciate, protect and restore the ecosystems and watersheds in the Yellow Point area of Vancouver Island, and to inspire and support local residents and visitors to do the same.

  • British Columbia Rare Bird Alerts - Reports observations of rare birds in British Columbia. Includes both unreviewed and reviewed/approved observations.

  • The British Columbia Breeding Bird Atlas - A uniting force bringing together the birding and wildlife-watching community, wildlife management agencies, academic institutions, industries, professional biologists and responsible outdoor user groups, in a common stewardship goal: better conservation of our birds and the places they live.

  • British Columbia Field Ornithologists - A not-for-profit, charitable organization whose members are birders and ornithologists, novices to experts, that is committed to the study, preservation, and enjoyment of British Columbia’s wild birds.
