Since we build birdhouses we research birds and what they like when looking for a new home. We're kind of like realtors for birds!
One of the questions we get a lot is: What birds will use this birdhouse?
We've found that opinion tends to vary slightly on which birds like which sized entrances. As a result we've created this chart which appears to be the most common sizes for some of the local, Victoria, BC, nesting birds. We try to list the hole size in each post but if it's not there please feel free to send us a chirp to ask.
